Gunther Hashida Death – Is Dead: A third official who secured the U.S. Legislative hall against a favourable to Trump horde on Jan. 6 has passed on by self-death, police affirmed Monday evening.
D.C. Metropolitan Police Officer Gunther Hashida was found dead at his home on Thursday in the wake of ending his own life, the office said.
“We are lamenting as a Department as our contemplations and petitions are with Officer Hashida’s loved ones,” MPD representative Brianna Burch revealed to The Daily Beast in an email.
Before his passing, Hashida had served in the office for almost twenty years—joining in 2003 and devoting himself to MPD’s Emergency Response Team inside its Special Operations Division.
He is made due by a spouse, three kids, and a sister, as per a GoFundMe page that had raised more than $11,000 toward his commemoration starting on Monday evening.
“In his work as an official with the DC Metropolitan Police Department, he attempted to serve and ensure the general population,” coordinators composed of Hashida on the raising support page. “He was a dedicated and cherishing spouse and father.”
