Lane Roslund Missing – State police have observed remaining parts accepted to be that of a 17-year-old who was accounted for missing the month before.

An additional 17-year-old has been accused of open homicide after the remaining parts – accepted to be Lane Roslund – were found covered in a shallow grave.

Patrick Hunter Gilmore of Hastings was charged Thursday, Oct. 14, in Hastings District Court on charges of open homicide, a potential life offense, and covering a demise, a five-year crime.

He is charged as a grown-up and imprisoned on $750,000 bond, Barry County Prosecutor Julie Nakfoor-Pratt said.

State police utilized a court order on Wednesday, Oct. 13, to look through property in Hastings Township Police were following up on new data given by an observer and tracked down the covered remaining parts.

State police had been helping Hastings police after Roslund, a Hastings occupant, was accounted for missing on Sept. 21.

Specialists anticipate examination discoveries to decidedly distinguish the remaining parts just as a reason for death.

The examination is continuous, state police said.
