Nan was brought into the world on August 17, 1943, in Ponca City, Oklahoma, and was raised on her family’s cow’s farm close to Hardy. She went to Oklahoma State University and was an individual from Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. Nan wedded Charles R. “Throw” Drummond on August 17, 1964, during their senior year at OSU. She graduated with a degree in Textile Merchandising in May 1965.
Nan and Chuck brought up three children on their family farm close to Pawhuska, Oklahoma.
