Paul Andrews TTI ObituaryCause of Death: When Paul Andrews lost his situation at General Dynamics, he didn’t look out for one more opportunity — he made his own.

Andrews, originator and CEO of TTI Inc., knew there was a creating business area for equipment sections and began selling parts out of his Fort Worth parking space as Tex-Tronics. It was 1971 and the gig was expected to be a fleeting action to get a little compensation while he looked for a more never-ending work. For over 50 years Andrews formed TTI into an overall association with more than 7,000 agents and over 130 regions in North America, Europe and Asia.

“He genuinely built a worldwide superpower,” said John Roach, who familiar Andrews with Warren Buffett during the 2000s.

Andrews kicked the pail Sunday. He was 78.

He proceeded onward from Arlington Heights High School and went to the University of Texas and TCU. In 2011 he was enrolled into the Fort Worth Business Hall of Fame and in September got the Susan Halsey Executive Leadership Award.
