Shannon Lewis Obituary – Cause of Death: Shannon Mechille Duncan Lewis, 44, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Saturday, September 20, 2020.

Shannon was a wonderful mother to her children. She was dynamic in Hannah and Eli’s lives. Her warmth for family and The Lord showed up in her time she put in as a working individual from the Westview Baptist Church. She supported everyone with her great voice by singing in the group. She showed young people’s classes, worked with the juvenile, went on mission trips and was on the children’s leading body of trustees and benevolence board, keep cooking for the underhanded or deploring, and the moms with new kids. Shannon proceeded onward from Varnado High School before going to McNeese to look for a Masters in Education. She reached the presences of various little adolescents, teaching at Maplewood Middle in Sulfur structure 2012-2013, Singer Elementary from 2013-2019 and Vernon Middle in 2019-2020. She was a person from the LFT. Shannon was an amazingly strong lady who was worshipped by all who knew her and will be recalled affectionately truly by her friends and family.

Those left to value her memory are her mindful companion of 21 years, Robert Lewis of DeRidder, LA; youngster, Eli Lewis of DeRidder, LA; young lady, Hannah Lewis of DeRidder, LA; mother, Pamela Duncan Jackson of Varnado, LA; kin, Dewitt Duncan, Jr. of Alexandria, LA; sisters, Tonia DeLeon of Pine, LA, Jennifer Sticker and Brad of McNeill, MS, Deanna Keating and Ben of Bogalusa, LA; and a huge gathering of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and family.

She was gone before death by her father, Dewitt O’Neil Duncan.

The appearance will be held tight Saturday, September 26, 2020, from 1:00 PM until the hour of the organization at 2:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Kin Jason Hoychick will coordinate the help.
