Aleshia Armor Death – Died: Overland High School Principal Aleshia Armor kicked the container all through the week’s end in light of what Cherry Creek Schools portrayed as customary causes.
To allow understudies and staff time to manage the hardship, the optional school in Aurora dropped classes on Monday.
“We are squashed and pitiful by this adversity to our school neighbourhood will twist around in reverse to help you and your child as you need during this inconvenient time,” Cherry Creek Schools Superintendent Scott Siegfried said in a message to the Overland social class.
A message from Overland Athletics said Armor was a “reference point of worship, strength, honour, reliability and excitement in the Overland social class.”
“Boss Armor, we guarantee to continue to fight for all the objectives and feelings you held so dear,” the message read. “We will miss your flawless smile, your vivacious laugh and how you lit up a room.”
In a Facebook post, Overland alum and State Rep. Iman Jodeh, D-Aurora, said that when she and Armor at first met, they turned into the two sidekicks and accomplices. Jodeh acknowledged she was “in worthy hands.”
Jodeh portrayed Armor as “present, responsive, revering, careful.” She said that these attributes passed on into her associations and her work.
“You will be recollected affectionately my dear partner, rest in power,” Jodeh said in the post.
Understudies approach district crisis advocates from early evening to 4 p.m. Monday. Virtual assistance is open at 720-219-3998.
