Accident in Carluke Today – Ten emergency vehicle groups dashed to Kirkton Street in Carluke around 3.10 pm, following the repulsiveness crash.

A huge police presence is likewise on the scene, with officials securing the street outside Aldi and redirecting traffic along Glamis Avenue and James Street.

The state of the lady, who is in her twenties, and the youths isn’t yet known.

A segment of the road, which is the principal street through Carluke, is presently closed, with a police cordon set up.

A light-shaded Fiat 500 and white Peugeot SUV have been left in the center of the road, with cops seen glimpsing inside the Fiat, which had a broken windscreen and imprinted cap.

One observer said: “It was confusion and unfortunate — there were youngsters on the ground crying.”

There are two schools, Kirkton Primary and St Athanasius Primary, inside a brief distance of the accident site.

Mairi McAllan, MSP for Clydesdale, said: “I’m profoundly stressed over reports from Carluke this evening.

“My group has been in contact with police offering all our help.

“I need to thank the crisis administrations on the scene and meanwhile am, similar to everybody, appealing to God for uplifting news that nobody is genuinely stung.”

Overseer William Broatch, from Motherwell Road Policing Unit, said: “Around 3.10 pm, police were called to James Street in Carluke, at the intersection with Kirkton Street, following a report of a street crash including a vehicle and four walkers – a lady and three kids.

“The walkers are on the whole being passed on to medical clinic for therapy.
