Mark Chapas Oswego East – The Kendall County Coroner’s Office has affirmed that a person who was discovered perished in Violet Patch Park off Route 25 in unincorporated Oswego Township on Friday morning was an Oswego East High School understudy who prior had been accounted for missing.
A representative from the coroner’s office said Mark Chapas was articulated dead at 10:50 a.m., and the reason for not really set in stone to be self-destructive.
Chapas was a senior lineman on the Oswego East High School varsity football crew. Oswego East’s normal season finale against Plainfield North planned for 7 p.m. Friday at Oswego East has been delayed.
Friday’s varsity game will be played at 1 p.m. Saturday with a senior night to follow. The sophomore game will start off around 4 p.m.
Kendall County Sheriff’s Deputies reacted to the scene at Violet Patch Park and shut a part of Route 25 bordering the recreation center as they directed their examination, which is continuous.
