There had been tales circling via social media on Monday morning that Khumalo, had died, which the Jacob Zuma Foundation has since disproved.
“Following media enquiries, the establishment checked with the family and can affirm that the gossip about first woman MaKhumalo having passed on is without truth. Long Live Mama Wesizwe,” the establishment said in a tweet.
On Sunday evening, it was reported that the previous president’s more youthful sibling, Michael, had died.
As per TimesLive, Michael passed on at around 11 am on Sunday after doing combating a long disease.
The news comes in the week Zuma began carrying out his jail punishment at the Estcourt Correctional Center in KwaZulu-Natal after he gave himself over to the experts on Wednesday evening.
Carl Niehaus, representative of the disbanded Umkhonto we Sizwe Military Veterans Association, on Sunday evening sent his ardent feelings to the Zuma family, saying, the “torment that is being included on [the family] is causing significant damage, may his spirit find happiness in the hereafter”.
