Posted by Erin Canning Accident – Dead: An individual from the ladies’ soccer group at the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology died after an off-grounds mishap Saturday, the school’s athletic office said Monday.
First-year recruit goalkeeper Erin Canning’s page on the Rose-Hulman sports site says she died Sunday.
A local of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Canning showed up in one game for the Fightin’ Engineers.
The group’s down against DePauw University on Wednesday has been dropped. They will get back to the field when they have Washington University at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.
