Posted by Jim Pignataro Obituary – Cause of Death: Jim Pignataro, Michigan State Executive Assistant Athletic Director for Student and Athlete Services, has passed on. He was 49 years of age. The reason for death has not been uncovered.

Genuinely disheartened by the deficiency of our Associate AD, Jim Pignataro. Worked w him @ EMU also and he was an unbelievably energetic pioneer who was focused on the accomplishment of S-A’s consistently. Sending supplications to his whole family… ❤️
Pignataro filled in as Associate Athletic Director of Student-Athlete Services and Director of Student-Athlete Support Services, or SASS, before his latest job as Executive Associate Athletic Director.
