Posted by Pearl Fernandez Death – An adjudicator today dismissed a bid Tuesday for re-condemning by a Palmdale lady who confessed to the principal degree murder of her 8-year-old child, who was regularly beaten, starved, compelled to rest in a storage room, and tormented until his demise eight years prior.
Pearl Fernandez, presently 37, was condemned in March 2018 to live in jail without the chance of parole for the May 2013 killing of her child, Gabriel, yet battled in an April 1 request that she couldn’t currently be indicted for first-degree murder or second-degree murder as a result of late changes made in state law that influence respondents in some homicide cases.
Her sweetheart, Isauro Aguirre, 40, was condemned to death. His programmed appeal to the California Supreme Court is forthcoming.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge George G. Lomeli said he painstakingly checked on Fernandez’s request for re-condemning alongside the general record of the case and presumed that she is “not qualified for re-condemning help.”
