Daniel Mallo Accident – An inebriated young person slammed a vehicle early Sunday morning in eastern San Jose, killing his 21-year-old traveler, specialists said.

At some point before 5:40 a.m., a 1991 Honda Prelude driven by 19-year-old Gonzalo Magana of San Jose veered off westward Mount Pleasant Road close to Valley Ridge Lane and struck a tree, said Officer Steve Griefer, a representative for the California Highway Patrol.

He said somebody saw the destruction and alarmed CHP officials who were at that point in the space researching a different accident.

The traveler, distinguished by the Santa Clara County coroner as Daniel Zaccheo of San Jose, was articulated dead at the scene by paramedics.

Magana was taken by rescue vehicle to Regional Medical Center in San Jose with significant wounds and was relied upon to endure. He was captured at the clinic, Griefer said, on doubt of driving affected by liquor or medications just as lawful offense vehicular homicide.

Griefer said the reason for the accident is being scrutinized. He requested that potential observers call CHP Officer Mark Mallo at (408) 467-5400, Ext. 371.
