Justice Rondell Weaver, sitting in the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court, upheld the unjust accommodation that had been made by Best’s legal counsel, Nigel Hughes.
It was claimed that at around 4:31 a.m. on February 8, at Clive Lloyd Drive, Best was driving a vehicle, PRR 812, in a manner that was unsafe for people in general, causing Bentley to go missing. Best, who continued in the same fashion, claimed that the cyclist out of nowhere had come in front of him and applied the brakes and the correct side of the front of his vehicle struck the cyclist, who fell on the street and suffered injuries.
