Posted by Drew Bernstein Death – Is Dead: A body found on a remote path close to Laurel Canyon Park has been distinguished as the originator of a troublemaker Goth clothing organization, specialists said Tuesday.
Drew Bernstein, 51, of Los Angeles died from an obvious self destruction with a self-caused shot injury, said Lt. Fred Corral of the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.
Bernstein, otherwise called “Lippy,” established Lip Service in 1985, coordinating its design toward Gothic, troublemaker, rock and interest world.
In a message posted Tuesday on Lip Service’s Facebook page, the organization delegates expressed, “Yesterday we lost our originator and closest companion, Drew (also known as Lippy). He was a decent man who propelled everybody around him and there are insufficient words to communicate how profoundly he was cherished and will be remembered fondly.”
Linda Judy-Pugh wrote in message on Facebook that she and Drew began the organization from their carports by making screen prints.
Firemen discovered Bernstein’s body around 8:45 a.m. Monday close to the 8300 square of Mulholland Drive, around a five-minute climb from the street.
Los Angeles Police Department Sgt. Dave Cueto said Monday evening the individual kicked the bucket of an evident self-caused twisted to the chest.
