Posted by Jim Tilmon Weatherman Obituary: Jim Tilmon, a drawn-out NBC 5 forecaster and flying pioneer who transformed into an effectively perceived name to Chicagoans, has passed on at 86 years old, his family insisted Saturday.
The veteran essayist passed on at a clinical centre in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he lived with his loved one of 32 years, Joan.
Tilmon, an Oklahoma neighbourhood, was not simply alluded to for his work as a Chicago correspondent yet was a surrendered pilot who covered flying and science during his 22-year residency at NBC 5.
Tilmon left NBC 5 of each 1994 and moved to Arizona where he continued examining flying.
“He appreciated NBC,” his significant other, Joan, said Saturday.
Veteran author Carol Marin, who surrendered in late 2020 as NBC 5’s political publication administrator, said Tilmon was capable, at this point kind and liberal with his time.
