Michael Berwald Obituary – Died: Michael Berwald of Toronto has passed away, as seen from the articulations published in the web media on January 12, 2020. At the northern culmination of Poinsett Lake, south of Stone Bridge, the Watertown Dispatch Center I received an emergency considering that an ATV and two people had beaten the ice shortly after 6:00 pm on Saturday. At the scene of the emergency, the 60-year-old individual, Michael Berwald from Toronto, SD, and the 9-year-old boy were cleared dead.
After the rescue, Brookings Dispatch Center received an emergency call that a four-wheeler and a shack had navigated the ice and were not in the water far enough in the eastern region of Poinsett Lake. Crisis personnel were called to the scene and the injuries were not discussed this time. Anglers are advised to go to the district lakes as the thickness of the ice changes from serval to an inch in a matter of a foot away.
As the National Weather Service appeared, it is speculated that space will see high temperatures above or near freezing for the rest of the week with nightly lows basically in the 20s. This could continue to create dangerous conditions in Poinsett Lake and another near the lakes.
