Posted by Robert A Altman Obituary – Cause of Death: Robert A. Altman, creator of Bethesda and ZeniMax Media, parent of id Software and its enduring CEO, has died at 74 years of age.
A tweet from the Bethesda account shared the news today, remembering Altman as a “true visionary, partner and disciple of the spirit of people and the power of what they could achieve together.”
Altman created ZeniMax Media near Christopher Weaver in 1999. In at least a long time since ZeniMax has become a lucrative association under Altman’s organization, it now reviews several exceptional studios such as Prey dev Arkane Studios, Skyrim dev Bethesda, and Doom dev id. Software among his helpers, to give some models.
