Posted by Wilber Shirley Obituary – Cause of Death: Wilber Shirley left this world to be with Jesus on Monday morning. He was gone before death by his loved one of 68 years, Margie B. Shirley. Wilber happily served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War.
Wilber was an enduring man, which was an unfathomable point, he lived to work. For over 59 years, he had and worked at Wilber’s Barbecue in Goldsboro. Wilber in like manner loved First Free Will Baptist Church and was a given and unfaltering labourer his entire life.
A recognition organization adulating the presence of Wilber will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 8, 2021, at First Free Will Baptist Church in Goldsboro with Rev. Dr Otis E. Hamm managing. Members are drawn nearer to wear a face-covering and practice social eliminating. The family will get associates at the assemblage following the help. A private committal for the family will be at Wayne Memorial Park.
Wilber is made due by his young ladies and youngsters in-law, Trista and Dennis Monk of Goldsboro and Rayne and Davie Caudill of Mount Olive; grandchildren, Brenna Wolfe and life partner Adam, Courtney Barnes and spouse Jon, Tanner Monk, and Davis Caudill; staggering grandchildren, Wesley Wolfe, Allie Gray Barnes, and Declan Monk.
